We have been retained by our client to source a Corporate Communications Manager.

This role is focused on communicating and embedding ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL, AND GOVERNANCE (ESG) standards into the company narrative, as investors become increasingly focused on ESG matters, as well as playing a key role in other investor and corporate communications. Working with senior management across the client’s Group, the role has responsibility for communicating both the actions already being taken in these areas, as well as future priorities, to investors and analysts, customers, media, and employees.
Duties and responsibilities
Establish the Group’s overall ESG communication strategy
Develop the Group’s sustainability narrative and messaging across all audiences
Communication of targets and sustainability activity across all channels
Prepare various internal and external communications material, reports and presentations, such as investor presentations, website content and the annual report
Collaborate with experts across the Group to respond to ESG related queries
Review and recommend improvements to ESG disclosures
Management of the IR calendar and the planning and logistics of IR events
Supporting the CEO, CFO and External Relations Director in all areas of Investor Relations
Working closely with EXCO members and senior management in the development of the ESG and sustainability narrative
A strong interest in and passion for sustainability
Excellent writing and proofreading skills
Able to build strong networks independently to facility work delivery
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Ability to handle multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met
Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
Qualifications and experience
Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject. Experience working in ESG/CSR/sustainability for a listed company is required. A background in Investor Relations would be preferable.
