An experienced Visiting Officer is required to provide one to one support in order to achieve positive outcomes by identifying and assisting new and existing tenants at risk of tenancy failure.
To enable them to maintain their tenancies and make improvements to their circumstances and well-being including finding work and improving financial capability.
The role will involve both proactive and responsive work, identification and referral of cases to be escalated and casework as directed by the housing officer.
Roles and responsibilities to resolve customer enquiries and requests relating to the setting up of new tenancies and sustaining of existing tenancies including undertaking lettings, case managing new tenants and escalating appropriately, high level and complex issues to the Housing Officer.
To understand and diagnose a customer's needs holistically across and facilitate cross-service solutions to enable them to begin and sustain their tenancy.
Effectively signpost to support following triage of support needs.
