Fundraising Manager - Breast Cancer Haven - Hereford - up to £32,500.00

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and target driven individual to lead a fundraising team to implement a sustainable fundraising strategy for Breast Cancer Haven Hereford.

The Person We Seek

We are looking for a fundraiser with at least five years’ experience who has excellent knowledge and understanding of Hereford and the surrounding areas. Working closely with Breast Cancer Haven’s national Fundraising and Communications Director, you will use your knowledge and skills to implement a sustainable fundraising strategy to achieve an annual target of £275,000 to cover service delivery and operational costs as well as a 10% contribution to Head Office services.

To succeed in this role, you will need an impeccable eye for detail, be an exceptional communicator and a great motivational team leader. Key skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of setting, reforecasting and managing budgets
  • Experience of managing staff and volunteers
  • Knowledge of a fundraising database, preferably Progress CRM, gained in a fundraising environment
  • Possess good knowledge of all charity income streams, particularly special events, community and corporate fundraising.

 You will support the Breast Cancer Haven Manager who is responsible for running Breast Cancer Haven, Hereford.

 The job is based at Breast Cancer Haven in Hereford but there will be travel within the wider region and occasionally to our other regional centres to meet with other teams
