This is an immediate start for an experienced Learning Services Manager. This role is initially for 3 months with view to extension.
Candidates will hold a teaching qualification at a minimum of Level 5, e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, IRR and will have an appropriate Subject Specialist qualification at a minimum Level 3
You will possess substantial experience leading and managing staff in an adult learning environment together with experience providing learner services and learner support, particularly to disadvantaged learners.
Experience of managing effective partnerships to identify need and promote adult learning to disadvantaged communities.
Experience of Ofsted and SFA quality requirements and managing budgets
A knowledge and understanding of health and safety requirements in an adult learning context.
You will be required to travel to various sites across Birmingham.
You will strategically lead and direct the development of learning services Plan and implement a framework for learning services Lead on self-assessment and quality improvement in learning services, focusing on improving the quality and effectiveness of services to learners Develop and maintain appropriate strategic partnerships both internal and external which support best practice, promote learner access and facilitate learner progress.
